This is the 2nd course of “Managing Cotton Series”. This course would give comprehensive knowledge on the importance of managing cotton for a spinning mill.
Managing cotton within a spinning mill is also an INTERDEPENDENT job. It is not only the supply chain who manage the cotton, rather it is the whole value chain of cotton in a spinning mill from the customer, marketing, process machinery, environment, production, quality, people and management that needs to be managed professionally to ensure the best return, minimize cost, and maximize customer satisfaction.
This course would help to understand why managing cotton is important for a spinning mill through giving an overall knowledge on the cotton parameters, different spinning processes, functions of different sections of a spinning mill, sustainable cotton, cotton price and risk of price fluctuation. Finally give an understanding of why a spinning professional needs to develop himself to be able to synchronize his decision on cotton considering customers’ requirements, his spinning process and environment, people, and eventually make the above-average decisions on cotton and ultimately become an expert on cotton.
